About Me

My name is Matthew, and I have been working as a Systems Administrator for three years. In my job role I am tasked with managing endpoints using Intune and SCCM. Before working as a Systems Administrator, I worked as a dishwasher, busser, carwash employee, and general laborer.

Information technology is a field that does not require a college degree to build a stable, good-paying career. Free online resources and low-cost courses can kick-start your career in tech. Moreover, there are so many pathways in tech, you can find one that your passionate about. Academic institutions such as Drexel University will charge upwards of fifty thousand dollars a year for a bachelor’s degree when in fact, if you have a stable internet connection, decent time management skills, and are passionate about the topic, you can succeed on your own.

I created this blog to contribute to the growing community of technologists that offer their solutions publicly and freely. In my role I reference blog posts and documentation daily to find solutions to problems that arise in our enterprise environment. I have the privilege of working with a great team that fosters a learning environment, so I decided to start my own blog site.

Every time I write a post, I am learning something new. Trying to articulate what is happening gives me a better grasp on the topic. When you read a blog post my aim is to transfer knowledge and explain the topic in the most straightforward way. I am no expert and want to learn with you, so if you have any suggestions drop a comment or Contact Me.
